A connoisseur of great beers. I prefer dark ales, but also like full-bodied lagers, such as dopplebocks. My faves are stouts or American Strong Ales. Also, really like good Scotch/ Wee Heavy ales, along with some old ales. Really enjoy pumpkin brews during the fall. Now into IPA's. So, far my favorites are Devil Dancer, Lake Erie Monster and 90 Minute.Trying to adjust my palate to barleywines and sours. I've probably had every style of beer out there from a multitude of breweries. Favorite brewery is Founders. A sample of my top 10: Founder's KBS, Breakfast Stout, Backwoods Bastard, Blushing Monk, Devil Dancer and New Holland's Dragon's Milk. Some of the worst: (hate to say it)
Bourbon County Brand Stout, Old Rasputin Barrel-Aged, Rogue Voodoo Doughnut (drain pour). I do like Sunset Wheat on draft by Leinenkugel's for tasty fresh summer brew. Try BBC Bourbon Barrel Stout on draft...yum!!!Interact
