Those are huge pours for how strong that stuff is. The idea of a beer that is more potent than most liquors scares me!

Another vote for $45 for BCS Rare - I wish I had bought more than one bottle, and I'd buy it again at a higher price (though not at Ebay prices these days). I also contributed to a Utopia for a friend's 30th birthday many moons ago, and that bottle was probably >$150 because you could only get it on Ebay at the time we were buying...

I was out of town during the BCS Black Friday release and couldn't find a bottle of the Cherry Rye anywhere in the city. When I saw it at my local bar (Poor Phil's) I called up a few friends to share it with me. Worth the $36 to try it, and it was as good as anything I've had. I think New Holland's Dragon's Milk is the best $4$ value in the arena though.

After shipping it was around $75 for a 750 Armand'4 Oude Geuze Lente. It was to toast my son being born and it still is one of the better geuze's I've had. That being said, I bought 2 of them (2nd one due in April) and won't be buying any more...

So far $38 for a Melange 3, there are definitely others that I'd gladly pay more for if I could find them in CA.
