These guys paid $155 for two 12oz bottles of Brewmeisters Armageddon. It doesn't sound worth it.

Westvleteren sixer for $85. Split with a buddy as his xmas gift. Worth it? Not sure yet. Drank one and honestly thought it was more boozy tasting than other quads, going to let the others sit.

Infinium for $20ish... although I never drank it. I began to hear the similarities to champagne and decided to give it away in a company 'white elephant' gift exchange. People went nuts over it.

It's really good. Not sure if its worth $30, but it's darn good.

    Myself I've paid $50 for a Murda'd Out Stout and $40 for a Stille Nacht Reserva 2010

Probably because no one wants to find out they paid 3 times the shelf price for something. A lot of us have been in that boat before...

Yeah... still think about it every know & then. Still haven't found another..

This happens when you find about a highly coveted beer until after it's been released. But it was definitely worth it for me.

    $20 for Founders Bolt Cutter.
My best deal ever was 6 packs of Rush River Winter Warmer for $2.49 (an obvious screw up).

    maybe £8 for a bottle.

I'd guess I'd probably pay up to £15 for a 750ml bottle as that's about as much as I'd pay for a bottle of wine to take home.

I think $15 for a Smutty Rye IPA was the most I've spent on a single bottle.
