About a year ago, I traded an '08 BCBS, '10 BCBS, and two '11 BCBS for an '05 BCBS.

I think you should immediately post an auction style FT post, a set of BA DL's at a bare minimum.

Why do you mock auction trades, but try so hard to support ebaying?

Auctioning is what ebay is for. The rules here state no auctioning.

The rules of ebay state no auctioning of full beers for consumption, guess you aren't hard and fast on that morality thing you got going, ayy?

    Attempting to be vaguely constructive:

    1) Trades of vintage beers like this happen so infrequently, that it's hard for anyone to say what the beer is "worth"

    2) Most likely this is only interesting to someone with an 06-12 vertical that they want to extend, so you have to get lucky with that person seeing your ISO:FT

    3) Off hand, my guess is you could get a $20-30 current limited release beer for it. I could be completely off on this, though.

Funny how often these thinly-veiled auction threads contain the word "friend" in the OP.

Where's Stu with my data points and pDev and what have you?

Wow, you guys must believe in black choppers and ufos running the government, too? Take a chill pill.

It's not my beer. I don't want to sell it. Just wondered if it was an interesting beer to folks and worth the trouble of trading it.

I guess I should have asked if 05 BCBS is something that someone might trade a 750 of an intersting sour beer for? Is that a better question?

an "interesting sour beer" could be anything from jolly pumpkin la roja (shelf) to cantillon soleil de minuit (whalest of whales). you've gotta be more specific as to what you're looking for. if "your friend" has a specific beer they're looking for, we might be able to help more. '05 bcbs will get you something desirable, but certainly not one-off cantillons or anything like that.
