I'm pretty sure you aren't talking about the same beer.

    This one:
    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22147/79241
    500 mL bottle swingtop bottle.

Edit: maybe you thought I was talking about Rare Dos (without the "R"). As far as I know that was only bottled once, and I still haven't had a chance to try that.

Yes, but RareR D.O.S. is only sold at Pegs as far as I know. If you received some of those growlers, I'm pretty sure they were filled, by hand, at the restaurant. The last Rarer DOS day was 12/21/12. They had maybe 8 small barrels. See my pictures below

Then that's probably where they came from. Not sure what my friends traded for them, but they seem to be pretty plentiful right now.

I agree with this guy. '83 Dirty Horse was overhyped to me. I much prefer all vintages of Cantillon Kriek.

My vote goes to Black Damnation IV - Messy for my favorite draft beer.

I'd have to go with Real Ale's Kraken (French Oak Aged Sisyphus Barleywine).

Of the breweries I've had the opportunity to visit, I'd say 3 Floyd's Thick White Freaks, Bell's Trumpeter Stout, and Russian River Happy Hops. Each place had other great beers on draft only, but those would be my top request from each if they wanted to start bottling something new.

That beer blows my mind everytime it hits my lips. Dear Mr. Lawrence please bottle that extra tasty brew, hugs and kisses - you're good friend Axes&Anchors.

Not the "biggest" beer, but my vote goes to Victory Uncle Teddy's. Every time I see it I have 3 or 4 pints. It's so smooth and balanced.
