Tough Question at the moment probably Hoponious Union.

Id be ok with Union Jack, Racer 5 or Lunch.

Wow, I've seen plenty of times that people don't read the OP, but this might be the first time the OP didn't read the OP :stuck_out_tongue:

(Just pokin' fun, but you didn't say the answer had to be something you can't get all the time )

To answer the question, I'd probably have to go with Heady Topper, and IPAs aren't even my favorite style! I'm usually a malty kind of guy, but there's something about Heady Topper that just floors me each time I drink it.

Something fresh (cask) from Black Sheep in North Yorkshire. I love their Best Bitter (3.8%) and Riggwelter (5.9%), but in terms of something sessionable but with a bit more heft, I might have to shoot the difference and go with their Special Ale (4.4%). I could gladly go into my local (if only I had one) every day for the rest of my life and order a pint or two of Black Sheep Ale, and die a happy man.

As for something reasonably available in the States, I'd go with bottled Riggwelter or Special Ale (SO LONG AS IT WAS FRESH!)...the freshness issue has, sadly, made me swear off buying these on this side of the pond :slight_frown:

Combination of drinkability, flavor, and rarity? I'd say Pliny but I'm starting to drink Pliny at least five times a month. Row 2, I've realized, is actually harder to find and it's even more sessionable. And I've only ever seen it on tap.

Seriously, this beer floored me, and I got it through sheer dumb luck and a sweetheart of a trading partner. I couldn't believe how good this stuff was.
