All aboard for the hype train.
    That is all.
It didn't happen because I don't have pics...

Never heard of this one. Any details about what the beer actually is? Dark, light, barrel aged, brewed with snozberries?

The Lamb in this year's Belgianfest program has the description of "Saison aged in French Oak wine barrels with brettanomyces lambicus"

This was mentioned in the August WABL newsletter earlier this month. I'm sure Fremont won't even mention this until it's sitting at brewery, waiting to be purchased.

Sign me up. I'm a complete whore for any beer whose description contains the words "saison," "oak," "barrels," and "brettanomyces." Bonus points for the word "Fremont." If I didn't know any better I'd think they focus-grouped this beer based on me.

Seeing how the forum works these days, it's probably safe to say we all start pre-trading this? Right? 1:1 for Ann? Sounds fair to me...

Seriously, Fremont is single handedly making the Seattle beer scene more exciting. Looking forward to seeing more creations that come out of their barrel program.

Who was that douchebag that said there were no rare beers from WA? Some people...

    I think his name was Dan...what a turd.
As I always say, "Fremont owns WA."
I freaking love the regular lineup, all their BA offerings, and their crazy casks.
    Fremont rocks.

+1 on the random casks that change weekly. The cask Summer Ale (which already has some pretty hefty Amarillo!) with Citra a few weeks back was awesome. Counting the days until fresh hop Cowiche Canyon hits....

Their Wandering Wheat with lemongrass and Citra was the best wheat beer I've ever had.

Supposedly they have a Flanders Red and Lambic/Geuze in the barrels right now, aging.

Yep, they talked about all of these at their Seattle Beer Week barrel event. Some people even got to try them.

WABL used to be good, i was in it for 5 years but i did not renew last year. The group has slowly been getting worse and their newsletter is a total joke.
Anyways I look forward to all the fremont sours, when we tried them during SBW they were a little young and needed some more time to age and sour up.

Yeah. I thought it was pretty good at Belgianfest. It has had plenty of time for the bugs to go to work.

I spoke with Fremont at WBF and he dropped a hard hint about this. I can't wait. You'll see me there lined up while Walters is in front of me in a sleeping bag.

What happens in the line in front of Fremont stays in the line in front of Fremont.
