Actually, their site isn't really done. The text is the standard "lorem ipsum" Greek placeholder text you use to see how something will look. A good chunk of the links don't work either. Seems kind of odd that they would launch their site like that instead of a test environment...but what do I know?
Being a brewer at a place like Breck is a good thing. That means he knows what he's doing and has a ton of experience brewing commercially.
I'm not too sure about the metal theme though. Like you mention - there's already a place doing that and making full-on kickass beer right now. Hopefully there's some differentiation, otherwise, this can really come across as being very "me too."

By the way, Fort Collins has another 5 in planning, that I know of. I think two are dead in the water though. no facebook updates for over a year.

I stopped by today and it looks like it didn't make it. The building is up for rent again. : ( It would be a perfect location for one with a great patio!!

I heard Blue Spruce signed a lease in the northeast corner of East County Line Road and South Colorado Blvd, Centennial.

I was driving to the Yak and Yeti yesterday and saw the sign for Odyssey Beerwerks. Northwest corner of Sheridan and Ralston. Any info?

I don't think I've seen anyone mention Lowdown here, so I'll post this:

    http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/2013/04/two_rock_bottom_brewers_will_open_lowdown_brewery.php

Two former Rock Bottomers taking a stab at a brewpub. I do like the location, and not just because I can walk there from my house in about 5 minutes. I'm also a big fan both of guest taps and brewers that make more than one IPA. However, the idea of "Connecticut-style pizza" opened one of the top ten most lively (and hilarious) conversations on my Facebook wall. I still contend that it's Bagel Bites.

Yea, I saw that and added lowdown to (coming soon) on the d.enver b.eer s.cene a.pp.

While I haven't been to Westminster one, I have enjoyed the Park Meadows beers the few times I've been there.

Sounds like Black Sky might be open as early as June as well. BoB is close to being complete too.

As someone who grew up in right outside New Haven, Connecticut I will defend their pizza to theend..Sally's Pizza remain my favorite pizza, period. Pepis and Modern aren't no joke either.

Lots of things you can rip on about Connecticut, their pizza is not one.

I think Connecticut was a Shakespeare figure--slept with his mom, or something

Driving downtown today I saw some signs posted that a brewery was going in next to Cheeky Monk. Can't remember the name but there were signs on the doors and windows.

The Cheeky Monk was working on opening a brewery next door called Lost Highway. They were originally planning to open last December. Not sure where there at right now.

Now that you mention the name that's what it was. Good to know.

Last I recall they have their license to brew, just waiting to work on the space. They own the building now, not sure what's holding them up. I think they said Fall of this year.

A new one for me. Looks like they're shooting for an early May opening.

Have you left your house in the last year? It seems they are again.
