Piggybacking off of another thread I saw. What beers do you like, but are rated lowly here on BA or people otherwise don't like?

Baltika #6 - the baltic porter
    Zyweic Porter
    Full Sail Amber
    Radeberger Pilsener (on tap especially)

zyweic porter is low rated?! c'mon BA, that beer is awesome, classic example of a baltic. Is it priced to low to appreciate?

edit: Wait, its an 88. OP what are you talking about?

edit: for the record, its an interesting thread OP. Im just confused by your selection of not liked / low rated beers, as they are for the most part mid 80s.

I thought NB Ranger was way better than a run of the mill 3.8 average.

I have a bunch in the 80's that I think are underrated. But I'm going to go with the beers I like that are rated below 80:

    Magic Hat #9
    Leinenkugel Snowdrift Vanilla Porter

There are basically no beers that I like that nobody else likes.

Within 6 months of packaging date, there is no better lager at a better price.

New Glarus Cabin Fever. It is their lowest rated beer at 80 and 3.53, but I think it is much better than that gives it.

Southern Tier Blackwater series. They're highly rated, but all I ever hear on BA is how terrible they are. I love 'em and was sad to see the series cut down to Plum Noir (which I've never had), Choklat (the second weakest), and Creme Brulee (easily the most polarizing). I don't get the hate, but I also don't get the removal of the three best: Mokah, Javah, and Oat.

I love me some Boulevard Rye on Rye. I know its a 4.24 average, but I actually think its underrated.

I know some people who use this site that won't buy anything that doesn't get at least a 90 rating on here.

Creme Brulee is my favorite by far glad their still making it but I loved all of them if any Southern Tier employees are reading this please reconsider it's not like these beers sit on the shelves they made Mokak Javah and Oat last year and I can't find Mokah or Oat anywhere and haven't seen much Javah left ether so clearly theres people who love them and will be sad when their gone:slight_frown:
