I started an ISO yesterday that has a DDG as one of the beers I'm offering for trade. I'm searching for Cantillon in general but mentioned Fou Foune is higher on the list. I received several offers of "I have a FF for your DDG" or "I have a FF and can add another beer for your DDG".

So, how many FF units is equal to 1 DDG unit?

I like pickles, but the answer from this guy is 3. Cheers!

I have no idea as I would never trade a FF. I have been trying to land a DDG to no avail with some really nice beers...

    Good luck!

Why does the voting stop at 4? You can't win trades with that attitude.

I would imagine the acidic reflux after drinking four Foufoune tastes similiar to DDG.. two birds with one stone!

This would lead any rational person to rethink how they make ISO posts, not cry about lowball offers due to an inability to type a few clear-headed sentences.

The clearer your ISOs, the better you can win trades, and the faster you can pay off your wife's boobjob.

I'm probably the biggest proponent of wales and such and "rarity". But why the hell would anyone trade Fou Foune for DDG?

I was one of the ones who offered 1:1. I generally do not trade my bottles of Cantillon, but have always been curious about what DDG tasted like, so if you were looking to do it 1:1, fine, I'd come off one. Rarity wise, it's probably something like 3:1, but as many before me in this thread have posted, why on earth would I trade 3 authentic and delicious lambics for one American attempt at one? In the end, if you got that many similar replies, you should have made your ISO:FT post clearer.

I personally wouldn't trade Fou Foune for DDG but I can see someone doing 1:1. Trading three of them for one DDG seems crazy to me.

let me guess, the people who voted 1 are the people who replied to you ISO

edit: how do I change my vote, I meant to click pickles :slight_frown:

The answer is "Not as good as Fou Foune". Curiosity is overrated.

I traded an Abyss for DDG straight up two years ago, not sure what the big deal is.

I voted 3. Which is coincidentally the number of FF in my cellar. But I would not make this trade. Could be because I have had both beers and prefer FF or because my buddy has a bottle to be opened soon, but had I not already tried DDG I would find it difficult to pull the trigger on this trade since FF eluded me for so long. But I bet I you are willing to go international something could happen.

DDG is overrated, in this case. I'd rather keep my Fou Foune's.
