Hey, tx_beer_man, have you tried the Palmares stout from Cycler? If you haven't, man you gotta get some of that!

No, I haven't! Just 55-11 Imperial Red. I'll send Rockwell a tweet to see if they can get Palmares in there!

I talked to them about 3 weeks ago. It is just two guys doing everything on the weekend. They are not going to be canning for a year and a half to two years. They are going to start formal tours in about a month to two months.

I've seen Lone Pint on tap at Nobi a couple of times.

Who has been to the Fort Bend Brewery? How is it?

Nice.. I will try it next time I see it...

I'm loving this Houston area beer evolution.... lots of great beer to drink just from around the city and suburbs...

I'm not sure if they've tweaked their recipes, but their IPA when first released was the worst beer I've ever tasted. I hear the stout is good though. So I'll give that a try when I see it around.

Just peeked at Town In City's website - evidently they received their TTB license today. A big step in the process.

8th Wonder isn't up on the beer section of this website yet... will be interesting to see how they grow... I'm sure I'll end up hitting the brewery within two months or so... think they start tasting/tours in April sometime.

Here is the listing. It won't show up on the front page of the city beer guide until there are a number of reviews.

I heard they plan to start canning in 1 to 1.5 years from now. I can't wait. They're awesome.
