$38 for a Fou' Foune at a bar. I drank the entire bottle to myself (I was around my non-beer loving friends) and loved every last sip of it.

I paid $50 for a bottle of Dark Lord. It was an auction for charity and I would have donated anyways, so I just look at it like I got a free bottle of Dark Lord. Therefore it's the most expensive AND cheapest bottle of beer I've ever bought.

I'm a lightweight...most expensive is a handful of $17.99 bombers of different brews. I don't really keep track other than not overspending the budget whether it's one bottle or five!

I paid around $175 for a bottle of Utopias but it was a gift for a friend (birth of his first child).

Hoping he repays the favor by letting me try some when he opens it

If you told me you went and bought a $9 gallon of milk, came home, tasted it and honestly proclaimed it was the best god damn glass of milk you have ever tasted. Honestly.....i'd be intrigued.

If you went to lettuce advocate, I bet this very discussion would occur (comparing how much people spent on their lettuce). Same thing goes with cars, wines, other hobbies, etc. Here at beer advocate, people tend to focus on beer.

$115 for a bottle of CBS, back when you could still get stuff on EBAY. Yeah I know, I am nuts but I wanted a guaranteed bottle to have at my wedding.

Just scooped up this bad boy for the cellar. 20 bucks for a 500ml is the most I have ever paid but I'm sure this one is worth the quid.
