This beer is the color of lemon-honey coughdrops and produces a modest but tenacious white head. Smells of light clove, banana, pepper, light phenols, and lemon very slightly as the beer warms. Very fragrant, reminiscent of wit. Taste is a simple citrus and wheat combo with the sharp edges blunted by very subtle yeast phenols. Watery mouthfeel is saved by amzingly fine and soft carbonation. Drinkability is high. One of the better american wheats I've had.

Pours a cloudy, golden/copper color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Good retention and slight lacing. Smells of wheat, yeast, sweet malt, coriander, hint of clove, and hint of hop. Fits the style of a Hefeweizen. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, wheat, slight yeast, slight coriander, and a hint of clove. Overall, decent appearance, aroma, and blend. The body is too sweet and yet, the spice is too strong.

A- Pale gold in color with notable white head, quite hazy, splotchy lacing.
S- Good mix of bubblegum and spice notes from the yeast. A slight dried grass/hay scent.
T- Light bubblegum into malt sweetness. Spice comes in mid-sip and persists. Light bubblegum and spice aftertaste.
M- Very creamy/smooth. Kind of watery in finish.
O- Good balance of 'hefe' flavors, both just subtle enough as to not overwhelm.

The appearance is foggy but rich. It's a nice, dirty blonde.
The smell was so good I handed it over to my dad, who raised his eyebrows. There's something peculiar about the smell, despite it's greatness.
The taste is wonderful and full. It shoots straight into the air and then branches out, like upside down roots!
The mouthfeel is neither crisp nor soft, but it lacks nothing because the fizz keeps your mouth busy. Normally, fizz would be too much, but it has bread-like thickness that subdues the large bubbles. It's thick without being slimy.
I love Summer beers!

I'm not big on wheat beers, but this one is decent. It's all around moderate, but it is better than most wheat beers. Tastes the best when out by the pool or on the lake, when it's hot outside. But there are better beers out there and this one isn't memorable, at least for me it wasn't.

I drank this from a tulip...
It is a light golden orange with a filmy white head that quickly faded. The clove smell is dominant with a background of orange peel wheat and banana. The taste again, has lots of clove yeast banana and wheat. The beer is kind of thick for the style with low carbonation and a dry finish. This is an impressive wheat beer coming from Rahr, very tasty.

A What a beautiful looking beer. Pours a hazy dark golden with a nice healthy head.
S First thing I smell is bananas, then cloves and lastly the wheat.
T Just like it smells. Bananas, cloves and wheat. Decent beer.
M Nice carbonation. Clean finish.
O Nothing special, but it's a nice refreshing summer beer.

The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat with a little bit of banana and clove. I can tell this is a hefeweizen, but the aromas are not very strong. The flavor is mainly wheat, with a little bit of pepper and banana. I don't really get any clove in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
