Eye Candy: Transparent dark-goldenrod. Thin edges. Minimal retention.
The Nose Knows: Overbearing artificial lemon candy coated with powdered sugar. Would do double duty as an air freshener in the bathroom. Sweet malt and spice beg to emerge.
Tongueland: Grassy wheat overtaken by lemon bomb. Peppery finish. Wierd. Regulated to the beer pong beer collection.

bought as part of Saranac's Summer Variety pack from Southtown Beverages on 4/26/13 for $ 7.99.
poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass, served at fridge temp.
appearance: Honey yellow with a one finger white head that leaves little lacing.
aroma: gentle, slightly fruity, slightly hoppy.
mouthfeel: solidly medium.
taste: nice pale malt with a gentle hoppiness and just a touch of fruitiness.
notes: easy drinking, well made. I could drink this all day.

Pale, straw yellow fills the glass as tons of bubbles line the edges and add no loft to a quickly fleeting head.
Very little scent to note I detected mostly corny adjuncts with some lemon tones.
The taste is weak but mostly adjuncts of corn or rice. Faint touches of lemon or citrus hit the tongue but they are fleeting and almost imperceptible. I'm very disappointed in this entry as Saranacs are usually a lot of fun and tasty.

A - Light orange, one finger white head with no or little lacing.
S - Oranges and citrus.
T - The orange and wheat present, and some hops peek through at the finish.
M - Carbonation crispness is prominent, but not bubbly if that makes sense.
O - Nice beer for a barbecue or a warm summer day.

Served in a pint glass.
Appearance: Pure "beer" gold with little to no bubbles on the body. White head is about 1/4" probably less nothing spectacular here.
Smell: Light lemon orange peel scent.
Taste: Not bad at all with the citrus taste all over the body. Lightly sweet plus a little bitter complaints on my end.
Mouth: Judging from looks you would think the carbonation to be a little low, total opposite. Medium to heavy very very smooth.
Overall: Not as good as some other summer ales I have had but definitely satisfying at the BBQ, Salud!
