750 ml capped bottle poured into a snifter. "Batch 885 Bottled 9-08-2011" (1 year, 8 months of age)
Pours out a clear light amber /orange color, a nice 1 finger or so of white head off the pour that retains nicely. Some lacing here and there.
Not a whole lot going on in the aroma. Some light brett like funk and if you really dig a touch of pumpkin.
Nothing really jumps out and says "this is a pumpkin ale!" There is a touch of cinnamon and maybe a bit squashy in the finish. But a rustic Brett, slight barnyardy flavor is what is at the forefront. Finishes with a refreshing light tart/ sourness and some citrus.
Light, refreshing, easy drinking.
A good Brett beer, but not really a great pumpkin ale. Just slight nuances of pumpkin and spice. This has changed much with age as I remember it being relatively the same fresh. Not something I would purchase again, especially given the higher price tag, but I still look forward to JP beers I have yet to try.

White head. Slight hazed autumn gold.
Flavors of light pumpkin and spices. Nutmeg and cinnamon. It had a mild sour flavor. It tastes like Brett. A hint of tartness. A bit medicinal.
Mouthfeel: mainly dry. Medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation.
Overall, I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. Pumpkin and spice level was low which was nice.

L- Hazy burnt orange color with a thick off white head. The head fades quickly to a cap but leaves no real lace on the glass.
S- Bright sour notes of pumpkin and a funky background.
T- All kind of flavors assault you at once, spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon, orange, pumpkin, and a lingering sour tartness that comes out of nowhere and leaves you want a bit more.
M- Medium in body and high in carbonation, the finish is clean and tart.
O- Complex and outstanding pumpkin brew, not for everyone because of the sour funk but it sour beers are your thing you will want to try this one. The 6.0% ABV is right on to not take away from the enjoyment of this one either.

From a 750 ml (bottle says "Blend 1," bottled August 31, 2012) into a tulip.
A-This beer presents with a really nice color and great-looking head. It is a bright, rusty orange color and very murky. The head is tall (three fingers) and dense, with good retention. The foam is very light khaki and a touch shiny.
S-As you expect with Jolly Pumpkin, there is a lightly tart smell and a pretty big earthy component. Funkiness comes in the form of wet hay. The pumpkin scent also comes across more as an earthy, wet dirt scent than sweet pumpkin like you would expect. I detected very little spice.
T-The taste follows the smell pretty closely. Tartness is mild but noticeable (very mild, actually) and the primary flavor is a wet, earthy type of pumpkin flavor. Again, I did not detect much in the way of spice.
M-The feel is medium body (light for a spiced pumpkin ale, but heavy for a sour/wild ale...), and it suits the flavors well.
O-I am a little let down here, but I suspect that my bottle might be past its prime. The pumpkin and spices are very subtle and the wet earth flavors need a little more tartness to balance out the earthy, stoney taste that dominated this brew. That being said, this is a great looking beer that I will try again if I can get a fresh one.
