Pours a tangerine color with a finger of a white head, light haze/very small sediment.
Smell is pine, honey maltyness, grapefruit
taste is very piney, grapefruity and a wee bit floral as far as the hops go, you get a decent shot of honey like sweetness in the front. Finishes with a very bitter pine that lingers for a while.
Well this is way better then the last time I had it, I guess this is one you have to know is fresh! The last batch I had then months and week notch things on the side but they were not notched... But I took a chance and thought it was ok, but this time it is much better then ok!
If you see it and it is somewhat fresh give this a chance!, at under $10 a sixer this DIPA is in line with Lagunitas DIPA prices... Good Beer, Good price what else could you want.

Poured from a 12oz bottle, dated June WK3, into my Stone goblet...
A - Poursa slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a finger of white head. A nice ring is left behind when it falls.
S - Aromas of apricot are there, but not bold. Some slight bready/yeasty aromas are present as well.
T/M - There is some hop bitterness, and some piney resin in the aftertaste, but I can tell that some of the flavors have diminished with time. Nice caramel malt base, and the 9% is hidden very well. Perfect carbonation, medium mouthfeel.
O - This had the potential to be a great IIPA, but time has tamed this one down a bit. That being said, it's still a really good IIPA. Better than I was expecting actually. I would probably purchase another one, if it were available in Las Vegas.Cheers!
