Kelly Liquors is a slightly above average liquor store IMO. While I was there, no one asked if I needed any help. They do have a decent craft selection, but there are a lot of beers you can get in New Mexico that you can't get here. Most of the craft beer is on shelves, unrefrigerated, with only one cooler available for craft. The other coolers are full of macro beer. They do not have a mix a six pack. This was bad, because they had Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, but it was not available as single bottles, and since I am only in the state for 4 days, I wanted to get more than one type of beer. Overall, if you are close by, its definitely worth stopping in, but there are better options if you are seeking out rare beers.

Pretty good selection both in the refrigerated and unrefrigerated sections. Hundreds of unrefrigerated bombers, with at least one refrigerator dedicated to them. Plenty of refrigerated craft sixers, including various Sam Adams Imperial Series four packs ($8).

Stone, Rogue, Mikkeller, Weihenstephaner, Ommegang/Duvel, and lots of other nice finds. Was able to pick up some Infinium ($20) and 11.11.11 Vertical Epic ($10).

A variety of large magnum bottles as well.

You will definitely find something you want here.

Pretty much an everything that has booze type of shop. Smallish store in a strip mall all the beer is on the left side plus some more at the back. Nice selection including what local beers that New Mexico and Albuquerque have.

Service wasn't much, typical holiday crowding, but the checkout WAS damn quick. Appears to be oriental owned based upon who was checking and stocking.

Better than expected selection and more new to me beers than I would have expected. Unexpected finds like Stones 11th and Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout. Lots of local and Belgian beers here. Still impressive selection for a smaller shop.

Nothing overpriced, glanced at the Rum to gauge the prices and it is about the same as the supermarket.

Not a must see in Albuquerque but a worthwhile stop.

Kelly has an exceptional mix of beer choices at reasonable prices. Whether you're looking for the latest Western U.S. microbrew or a Belgian lambic, Kelly should be your first stop in Albuquerque. It's certainly a liquor store first -- if one measures such by the number of video surveillance cameras. Though the wide selection of microbrews and imports (with many available as singles, makes this the first choice for many beer connoisseurs. Prices are very agreeable except for the $9.99 six packs of some German (Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissen) premium beers. Great selection of unchilled beer if you’re not ready to start drinking immediately. This is a weekly stop for my beer collecting rounds.
