Served fresh from the tap to my 22 oz Mug Club Mug.
A-Golden clear with little head due to the tenders pull filling my mug completely. 1/4" white head that slowly fell to 1/8 ring and left good lacing.
A- Light floral/citrus hops, less than a strong IPA, yet still there.
T-Light Hops (cascade??, unsure) the tender thought it was strong, yet beer knowledge was not her strong point. good sweet malt balance.
M- medium light with little more carbonation than I like.
D- this is a beer you could drink for an extended period of time.
This beer is not retired and if the staff is correct will be served for a long while.

Draft pint at the Carver Brewing pub in Durango. Clear burnished gold color. Light carbonation with a few streams of rising bubbles. Off white head. Cherry life saver and tropical fruit aroma. Malty, tropical fruit flavors. Decent lacing. Slightly dry finish with light bitter hop snap. Good.

Had this beer on tap at the Carver Brewing restaurant in Durango, Colorado.
APPEARANCE: Crystal clear and brilliant golden in color with a very pretty and fluffy head made up of big bubbles. The head had decent retention, leaving about half of it hanging in there after a few minutes.
SMELL: This is not a strong smelling beer, but lemon and hops are detectable.
TASTE: Super citrusy with a ton of lemon flavor leading the way. A bit of grapefruit adds some tart bitterness although it never becomes overwhelming on the bitter front. A hint of piney sweetness balances the Jack Rabbit out a bit before a nice, mild and bitter finish washes it all away.
MOUTHFEEL: This is a very crisp, clean and refreshing beer. It is nicely carbonated with a lot of sparkle. It is not filling at all, making it a true thirst quencher perfect for throwing down after a long day of mountain biking or rafting on the river. Great mouthfeel.
OVERALL: After trying the sampler of all 11 beers on tap at Carver the day I was there, this one stood out. I then returned a couple days later and had another couple of pints. This is their strongest beer and as the bartender informed me, it has developed a bit of a cult following around Durango. Also, it is certainly not a retired beer as I just had it two weeks ago.

All in all...just an average pale ale.
Poured a deep copper with minimal off-white head, bit hazy, most likely chill haze. Not much lacing left behind.
Aroma was disappointing...I like a big hop bouquet in an APA, this had almost no noticeable hop aroma, just a bit of sweet malts.
Taste carried a bit more hops but not nearly enough, spicey and piney, with underlying malts.
Good carbonation level and easy drinking, went fairly well with my blue cheese burger. Not a bad APA, just not the punch I was hoping for.

This is an unfiltered light amber ale. Relatively thin head, but it did leave nice lace on the glass.
The beer was filled to the top of the pint glass so it was difficult to get a strong waft of aroma. What I could tell was that it featured the hop side more than the malt.
When I was taking notes during this tasting I wrote, "hop, hop, hop and more hop (like a jack rabbit)". Sorry. I drank this beer while eating their Soutwest Ravioli. This proved to be the perfect foil for that spicy dish.
This is a dry beer with an excpected level of carbonation and body.
Hoppy for hops sake; I like this (particularly with the meal I had), but you've been warned.
