Destination of a random road trip.
A. Cool rustic setting, like I was in a log cabin pub in the mountains. All over I see weird tap handles from the house beer. The bathroom was an amazing experience. Quarter Keg Urinals...
Q. Everything there was really good. I sampled quite a bit of their beer and every one of them was solid, some exceptional.
Service: Left something to be desired, our bartender was nice, but always seemed to be pre-occupied.
Selection: A good amount of house beer and wines. I drank a lot of the beer, and they had a stout on cask, that was rediculous.
F. The food was really good, they had a delicious bbq sauce for dippin, I was going to get frog legs but didint.
Value: Pretty reasonable. I will return!

North Country Brewing Company is a nice little place in a small college town. Food is delicious, and I'd highly recommend stopping in for some food and a couple beers. Great selection in terms of the food and beer. Wide varieties in both. Cool atmosphere as well. Looks like a mountain lodge. Service is good too. If you're in the area, check it out. Not really worth driving more than an hour to come here though.

I go to school in Slippery Rock and I thoroughly enjoy going to the brewery as much as possible. Has a good friendly atmosphere with very welcoming people and good conversation. They have a wide variety of food and would highly recommend it to a friend. Cannot complain on the prices of the food or beer pretty reasonable. Have a pretty wide variety of beers hat they brew throughout the year. I am excited for them to start canning some of their beers. Overall a good place to go out to eat or to have a few drinks. Highly recommend to take a visit if your around the area.

Being from Pennsylvania I always find it a point to seek out the smaller brewers to sample the local fare. North Country has a unique and quirky atmosphere that make it a staple in Slippery Rock. The selection is decent, the food as well, and the staff is always friendly. I try to make it point to visit whenever I'm in the area.

Unique, woodsy, cabin like atmosphere in a small college town..old world woodworker craftsmanship welcomes you at the door and is only the beginning of the sweet beer experience that's awaiting you inside..Paleo IPA is definitely my go to beer at this establishment. Honestly though, no matter what is ordered off the chalkboard wall list, you will most likely not be dissappointed. Go on a Monday night & enjoy the weekly live Bluegrass show, a plate of fried frog legs and a pint of whatever ales you...now that makes for a happy hillbilly my friend..
A cannery is on the way for this brewery as well...it just keeps getting better..

North Country Brewing is simply wonderful, wonderful beer, wonderful food and wonderful people. The brewery makes some excellent brews including the Paleo IPA, Oxymoron Wit, Bucksnort Stout, Rock Wheat and House Red Ale just to name a few and are all very good. The food is great and the service is great also. The brewery is located in beautiful Slippery Rock, PA.

Pretty cool place. It is one of the older (if not oldest) building in Slippery Rock. It was built in 1805. It was an inn, a cabinet making place and a coffin building business. They were undertakers and furniture dealers, said an 1897 ad. There are beams from 1835 that are still in the brewery. What a neat building!
The food is fantastic, the beer is alright. However, for what the beers that I tried lacked in the wow factor, the food does make up for it and I am sure I will find a beer that is awesome plus its a really cool atmosphere. They seem to have a ton of selection of beers always being brewed, so maybe I just didn't come when the right beer was there for me to order!
All in all we’ve been here a few times since moving out this way and plan on going back again.
