This beer is lighter in appearance. The smell is similar to a light beer. The taste is average. A fairly drinkable beer on a hot day. This beer, I believe, is the base for the Honey Blonde Ale by this brewer. I could drink this beer again in the right setting. It is refreshing. Drinkable on a hot day.

Appearance: Humble-looking, clear, light golden body with a white head.
Smell: Meager aroma smelling only loosely of lightly malted barley and tenuous hops.
Taste: Lightly sweet, delicately malted barley. One singular drop of lemon juice. Subtle spicy hops and a very low amount of bitterness. All in all, it's very mild, hovering uncomfortably on the precipice of blandness.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: One of those uber-light, refreshing, albeit forgettable brews best utilized for washing down a meal. It was confidently handed to me as a "traditional Pilsner", notwithstanding it being brewed with an ale yeast. A Kölsch? Eh, sure, or a blonde ale. I guess you gotta categorize it somehow.

I decided to go for a lighter approach to the next offering i was going to try.
This one went down quick, clean and smooth, considering it was over 95 degrees outside, this one was about what I needed at this point in the day. Nice bright golden yellow with a light white frothy head. Nice carbonation rippling though and good clarity. Light aroma of yeast, banana and peach, touch of lemongrass and a nice light grain. More of the same in the flavor with a good touch of biscuit in the middle of an otherwise very light ale. Nice carbonation adn a smooth finish.
Overall not bad, on a hot day. This was more of a light blond ale then a kolsch but it was still not bad. I would have no issue in trying this one again anyday.

I tried this on tap at the Heinzelmännchen Brewery in Syilva NC.
A: Light golden Color
S: Crisp floral smell with a sweet citrus hits present.
T: Very nice. Has a malty flavor but the finish has the presence of Hop bitterness that if I am not mistaken (which is possible) are Cascade Hops
M: Very light tasting with medium carbonation.
D: Very drinkable. Any beer drinking could easily enjoy this beer though the more refined pallet will still find complexity in this beer.
