I had this on tap at the brewpub in Greensboro.
A: It poured a cloudy, yet bright, orange color, and had a nice 1/4 finger head that retained itself. This was served with an orange slice(?).
S: Just like most of Natty's beers that I've noticed, the smell was rather mild. What I did get though was orange citrus, banana, and clove, with the clove winning out slightly.
T: This was very wheaty and with a big citrus component as well. I didn't get much banana, but I got lots of banana notes (like the nose). Also, maybe a touch of coriander.
M: I really dug the carbonation level on this one and the sweetness was played right down the middle. The lacing was mild.
O: This was a very good Hefe, and perfect for the rather warm March day!

A: a hazy golden amber with a lasting white head.
S: a pretty decent banana aroma backed by some thin malts and wheat.
T: a mild hefe taste with a teasing banana flavor but primarily clove and lemon heavy.
MF/D: mouthfeel was a little on the light side, but certainly enjoyble on a hot august day.

Served from tap into a standard pint. Poured a hazy pale yellow with a one-finger white head that subsides to minimal. Maintained decent lacing throughout. The aroma was comprised of wheat and citrus. The flavor was kind of bland with a spicy wheat follow-through. It was light on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a very subtle and smooth Hefe. It was light on flavor but made it quite drinkable and very refreshing for a hot day. Worth a shot if you are a Hefe fan and get the chance.

Pours a hazy darker yellow color with a big creamy egg shell haed that falls slow and laces well.
Aroma is wheat malts some fruitiness light banana, some lemon zest cloves and light peppery hints.
Taste is wheat malts some light banana notes that linger into nice zesty tart lemon citrus notes. Finish is lingering clove and lemon hints of banana and earthy yeast notes. Had this in the brew pub and picked up growler to take home, while not the best hefe i have had this is the best try by a brewpub at the style i have had.
Mouthfeel is light side of medium doesn't seem as chewy as German hefe but the flavors are about spot on.
Drinkability is great must say it hit the spot after sitting in the sun watching soccer games all day, very enjoyable and favorable would recommend trying it if your by the pub.

Had this on tap at Natty Greene's in a pint glass.
A - Orangish murky color with smallish 1/2 finger head. Retention was pretty short, with minimal lacing.
S - Nice banana aroma backed by some citrus.
T - Crisp and distinct banana and bubblegum taste upfront, but the taste quickly thins to a suggestion of wheat malt. Late palate some odd hop bitterness comes into play, accompanied by the very late introduction of spicy phenols. A very strange balance dominated by a relatively weak mid-palate flavor.
M - Carbonation was less than expected, and the body was extremely thin for a hefeweizen. More body may have let more flavor come through.
D - Drinkable and pretty good, but definitely not my pick of the night. Nice hefeweizen stuff going on, but the flavors were too muted and out of balance.

A- Cloudy Golden, fluffy white head gives way quickly and leaves a thin spotty lace.
S- Yeast, clove, bannanna, slight cardamon and some citrus notes.
T- Much the same as the aroma. Light and refreshing, leaves a nice citric taste in the mouth.
M- Lively and refreshing carbonation. Zesty, but a bit thin for style.
D- Very easy drinking Hefe, this leans toward an American wheat style for me. None the less, a nice refreshing beer.
A nice beer for a day in the sun or lounging on the deck.

Wonderful beer, but not particularly spot-on for the style. Poured a murky yellow-brown in color. Not the hazy unfiltered look of a traditional hefe. Solid white head that dissolves completely. Nose is wheaty but more like stale old bread than a fresh whiff of malted wheat.
Flavor and mouthfeel would have scored higher but I don't think this is quite on par for the style. I grade according to style. Lots of wheat but there is something else in the malt bill. Almost perhaps a bit of carapils but I'm not sure what it is. Slight herbal essence with a citrus tang. Mouthfeel is not as dense as some hefes that I prefer but still full. However, very drinkable beer and quite enjoyable. I hope they keep this on-tap for a while.

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a cloudy golden body but a modest head for a hefe; poor lacing as well
Smell: Decent banana/clove/yeasty aroma
Taste: Flavorful banana up front with a pleasant finish that reflects some spicing
Mouthfeel: Light and refreshing with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: A pretty decent hefe; flavorful but a bit understated
