From bottle, to glass = great head, lingering head, nice brown head, after it finally setles, leaves great lacing. It's a really dark brown, however lighter on the pallet than I was expecting from the color. However it can start to sit a little heavy on the gullet. If a beer is even good at room temp. it's a good beer and Old Town Brown is a good beer.

Another local Gboro brewer that I enjoy the products of. Have drank this one on a few occasions over the past decade. Guess I always just thought of them and Red Oak as breweries, not necessarily craft beers. Guess I've been in the craft beer scene for over 20 years and was too dumb to see it. Always thought this was above average but not outstanding, hence a rating of above 3.5 but below 4.

Nicely structured but way too sweet for my liking.

Look: It pours dark brown with a light tan head.

Smell: It has aromas of nuts, toffee, and dark fruits specifically plum.

Taste: It has roasted flavors with some nut flavors, toffee, and hints of dark fruits (Plums).

Feel: It has a moderate feel with a slight bitterness. It has a fairly high level of carbonation.

Overall: It is a pleasant brown ale highlight by strong malt with some fruit flavors in the background.
