Into a pilsener:
A: clear golden yellow body yielding a big fluffy four finger head. It has the nice simple fade a dortmunder usually has and has some fast rising carbonation seen in the body.
S: pilsener malts along with that crispy malty wheatiness close to a grassy corn-ness. Some light hops enter in very delicately.
T: the same smells come out very sweet, perhaps close to BMC sort of flavor-ness, but in a good way.
M: medium, sessionable, there is nothing harsh on the tongue
O: this one actually surprised me as I wasn't expecting much from it given the low ABV and the fact that it said on the bottle to drink by October 2012. If it tastes like this expired, I can only imagine what it'll be like fresh ... ???

Pale yellow/gold - a bit hazy....1/4" white head falls to a thin cap quickly. Lots of carbonation on the sides of the glass. No lace.
Bready malt with weedy, herbal and maybe a touch skunky hops.
Earthy malt...bready again with a dry, herbal, spicy clean finish.
Thinner, clean mouthfeel. Crisp and a very nice dry finish.
Surprising in a very good way...I wasn't sure what to expect here but very nice. Not sure of the cost on this but I will re-visit again gladly.

From BeerAdvocate magazine Issue #61 (Feb 2012):
LOOK: Clear, pale gold
SMELL: Fresh-baked bread, spicy hops, fresh hay, herbal, soft, very aromatic
TASTE: Very smooth, herbal hop, spicy bitterness, bready, doughy, clean, leafy,
dry finish
Once in a while we run into a lager that blows our minds. Here's one. Simply put,
this is a really amazing lager from Italy (not known for their lagers) that’s subtle
and immaculate on the palate. Wish we had more, as this is one you could hang
with all-day long with. A must-try.

gentle pour still yields a big fluffy almost 2 finger head that fades semi slowly with lots of lacing, crystal clear golden pilsner color, lots of bubbles floating from the bottom.
Nose is a bright vibrant pilsner like lager, lots of fresh pilsner malts, toasted wheat, cracked straw, little earthy wet hay and soft layered decoction like malt, fruity crisp lager aromas, hints of grassy noble like hops.
Taste starts with juicy malts, again lots of soft slight layered almost decoction like mash flavor profile. Light pilsner toasty malts, little straw and touch of hay. Lots of crisp lager flavors, little fruity, juicy. Light grassy hops, noble type, with light bitterness. Finish is dry and crisp, hint of apple like stone fruits and lager fruits, little soft malt flavor and pilsner like.
Mouth is med to lighter bodied, soft and crisp, good carb.
Overall quite nice. Wasn't expecting this, almost as if it was truely from Germany not Italy. Nice layered soft decoction like feel, crisp, clean, nice pilsner like malts, and just a touch of grassy hops. Very well done, maybe the best beer I've had from Italy actually.
