Beer is amber with a slightly rusty hue. Almost no head. Smell is raspberries with maybe a little yeast or bread. But mostly it's just raspberries. The taste is somewhat disappointing; there's just not much going on here beside some sourness. There not much depth from malt or yeast, and the fruitiness of the raspberries don't really come out either. Mouthfeel is fine; it's well carbonated and not too heavy. It's drinkable, but it's just not that interesting or complex a beer.

A - Pours a cloudy copper orange with a lush off white head that hangs on the glass but the lacing rentention is minimal.
S - Well, there is rasberry in there along with some yeast and bready notes. Not much going on here.
T - Again, simple flavors of rasberry, yeast and earthy breadiness. Its not really flavorful. These are just subtle flavors coming through. I was looking for more of a hearty complex belgian and all I got was a simple yeast and rasberry beer.
M - Light bodied with a noticable carbonation. The flavors tend not to stick around so much.
0 - Not a bad beer, but not anything great either. It is more of a summer fruit wheat than a rasberry triple IMO.

Have been hanging on to this in my cellar for about 1.5 years- Let's see how this experiment has turned out...
A: Cloudy peach coloured with two-fingers worth of creamy, yet also quite bubbly, foam head.
S: Raspberry aroma quite strong, but I'm not finding it too overly artificial rather more natural/earthy and reminiscent of raspberry seeds. Hard to detect any other aromas except some faint clove, pepper, and alcohol.
T: Raspberry aroma has morphed into a more citrus taste of oranges and grapefruits blended together (although hints of raspberry still present). Tastes like Hoegaarden mixed with KLB Raspberry? (not quite a traditional tripel). Grainy and earthy musky taste is quite noticeable and refreshing. Alcohol oddly evident considering the ABV.
M: Lighter body with a low carbonation that I feel is too flat. Tart with a bit of sourness.
D: Don't think I'll be pursuing this again. Not a bad beer, but a bit too varied in tastes which I feel clash with each other. Interesting style though, which made me initially pick this off the shelf, and I commend Les Freres Houblon for the creativity- Great to see.

Pours a cloudy brown, although murky might be a better word to describe it... Not nearly enough head (i.e. almost none) on the inaugural pour into my Duvel tulip. Aromas are pretty good, raspberry and a bit of malt. Taste wise, the raspberry imparts a bitterness to the beer that a tripel should easily balance with a sweet body. This does not. I find to belgian character to the beer actually, if the yeast had been belgian the raspberry overpowers it, and the raspberry isn't very strong... Not impressed, but my wife liked it well enough which is fine as I bought this for her...

Huge thanks to Shawn for this Quebecois gem! I've hunted for this beer for years, yet the sweet nectar has always eluded me.
Pours a light and clear orange with a wispy off-white head that puts down a few spots of lace. Raspberry dominates the aroma, but is joined by earth, grain and alcohol, so the tripel base is certainly showing through. Surprisingly not all that bad, if a little brutish. Fairly authentic raspberry flavour throughout, with earthy grains and minerals underneath. Dry with very evident alcohol. Certainly tastes FAR, FAR stronger than its 7%. Reminded me of a cheap flavoured vodka. Medium body with a zingy carbonation.
Really not all that bad, but not something I'd recommend. The alcohol ruins it for me, but perhaps with some time it would become better integrated? Other than that, pretty decent, if at the lower end of the style.

I think this is just a tripel with some raspberry (syrup?). Definitely wouldn't call it a Lambic.
A: Very hazy, light orange colour with an off-white head. THin ring of retention, some lacing.
S: Big raspberry & earthy mineral.
T: Like raspberry cotton candy, with some tropical fruit, slight mineral, modest bitterness, alcohol is well-hidden.
M: Well-attenuated, moderate body is smooth, slight acidity.
D: Easily approachable, but not overly enticing.

Bottle: Poured a super light clear pink color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of fake raspberry juice with a grainy aftertaste that doesn't fit really well in the mix. Taste is also dominated by some cough syrup raspberry flavor with some grainy malt. I still can't believe actual raspberry were sued as it seems dominated by cough syrup.

Poured out a hazy golden orange color with a thin white head. The nose is at first like apricot marmalade, with some sour notes, and additional fruityness. The taste is tart, and frankly tastes more like apricot than raspberry. Has a pretty full body with light carbonation. Really hides the alcohol well. Fairly drinkable, but franklynot a great example of the style.
