Somewhat murky golden straw color with a two finger creamy soft textured head that mirrors the texture of the brew itself. Fairly decent retention time and lacing qualities.
Smells mostly of a light cereal graininess with a lemon twist, faint amounts of grape aroma garnish and a light cracker malt aroma.
The flavor starts out with a herbal / lemon peel sting that turns into a biscuit malt mid-sip, which further transforms into a quasi-woody yet lightly resinous extended finish. Did I already mention the soft creamy texture? Well, it bears repeating.

Although it is not quite as "clean" as a traditional Kolsch, this offering is quite tasty in it's own right.

A- a slight tansparent straw color. nice frothy white head. left medium amount of lacing.

S- just a biscuity malt scent.

T- a light biscuit malt dominates with a slight floral presence.

M- light bodied. good carbonation.

Drinkablity- not my style but on a hot day this would be like water.

Overall- like i said i'm mostly a hophead but this beer seems very refreshing. the floral hops come out at the right time. got a growler to take home so i'm happy.

On tap at Churchkey. Served in a snifter.

Pours a clear golden color with a good, lasting white head. Good retention and a bit of spotty lacing on the way down. The nose brings forward a slight bit of grain plus some slight floral hops. Really good balance between those two. The flavor really nails the grain with light hop flavor and smooth hop bitterness. Light body and good carbonation. Really well done. This rivals COAST's 32/50 as the best Kolsch I've ever had. One day I'll go to Germany and we'll see how they compare to the real stuff.

12 oz. bottle.

Rather hazy, dark lemon body. Small, tight-laced, eggshell white head. Minimal lacing. Honey wheat bread malts, along with corn flakes, light citrus, and maybe a touch of pine on the nose.

Light, slightly toasted malt up front. Clean, bready, almost cereal-y. Maybe a touch of honey. Herbal, peppery, spicy hop bitterness arises and crescendos. Hint of pine in the finish. Dry and clean and very thirst-quenching on this hot evening! Moderate body with a crisp feel. Very tasty and perfect for the summer.
