Poured into a darkness goblet on 8/4/11.

Pours a a watery black with almost no head at all. A touch of brown resin when swirled. This needs more head in the pour it looks like I poured a glass of Coke.

Smell is of coffee and sweet malts in the front with some slight creamy smoothness in the end. Coffee and cream are very delightful with a slight sourness.

Taste is very strange. I like the coffee and cream tastes in the end of the taste but it all gets over powered by a strong sour taste the second it hit your tongue. This really missed the mark, I don't want my coffee stout to taste like its infected.

Mouthfeel is light and runs smooth with no bitterness. Alcohol is all covered. Not much else to say.

Overall this really missed its mark. It really tastes like the brew is infected. The aroma and the taste are totally different. I like the coffee aromas but the sour taste and mouthfeel really ruins this beer.

Pour is jet black with virtually no head. Nose is a bit artificial, artificial vanilla, overly sweet malt an sugar, and used coffee grounds. Taste is just as bad, overly sweet, under attenuated malt and coffee mess. Virtually no carb and extremely oily and slick feel.

Got this from Stormking47, cheers Joel!

Pours an effervescent mahogany with 2 fingers of mocha colored head. No lacing or head retention

S: Big time coffee & coffee grounds, fades as this warms

T: Dryness, much coffee & a bit of lactose up front. Nice mocha & cocoa flavors blend with straight up coffee & exrpesso as this warms. plus some more lactose sourness. Finishes dry with mocha & coffee grounds

MF: Smooth, some what creamy, medium bodied

A nice coffee stout, not upper rung, but right on the heels of them
