Space Rock is a light-bodied American Pale Ale with prominent floral and orange peel-like hop aromas. Only the slightest grainy malt qualities are detectable, as assertive bitter flavors of citrus rind and dandelion leaf take hold. The finish lingers with a waning bitterness that’s not overly dry.

This beer pours a clear amber color with a medium light orange head. Has a watered down hoppy smell with hints or orange. Taste is just not good. Has a spoiled hop taste.

January - March 2022 IPA Awesome Variety Pack - 12 pack
12 oz. can dated 010322 (1/03/22) - 5.0% ABV / 55 IBU
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a fizzy and soapy off-white head that leaves lacing. Clear, golden yellow appearance with tons of carbonation.
Smell - The scent is very malty with a graham cracker quality standing out. Also getting some grassy and floral hop aromas. Picking up some orange peel as the brew warms.
Taste - Taste follows the nose with a substantial amount of bitterness. Also tasting a bit of citrus in the aftertaste.
Feel - Medium bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and finishes somewhat dry.
Overall - A good balance of malt and hops and it's pretty easy to drink.

Smells slightly like oranges, not strong. Tastes tropical with mainly orange, not much flavor at all though. Nice smooth feel. Had this about a year ago and loved it. That was when I first got into pale ales. Now that my palette has grown this now tastes very mild and lacks hops and malt. Because of that I’d call it more of a beginners pale ale or if you just want something light.

Bottled 2/19/16; drank 3/11/16 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy pale orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small white head; decent lace.
Peanut butter & fresh ganja notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Peanut butter & faint grapefruit flavors up front; a bracing-ly bitter, macro-lager tinged finish.
If this is what gluten-free beers are like, fuck 'em. Awful.

Aroma is surprisingly mild, almost neutral. Not much malt presence. Taste is fairly bitter, dry, maybe just slightly lively carbonation. Overall not bad, but would like to see more aromas on the nose.
