hI.P.A. begins and ends with big, bountiful bites of hops, hops and more hops while maintaining the barest hint of a malty middle in the mouth.

Brown bomber bottle. Freshness date on the back label.
Golden, peach, haze-stricken beer with a pure white head. Haze clears as the beer warms. Mega-hops in the aroma; pungent, herbal, pine, citrus, fresh cut grass. A bit musty.
Somewhat coarse mouthfeel, thin to medium in body. Crisp. Hops are all up in your face ... cheesy, herbal, leaf, earth, strong and sappy pine with a citrus twang underneath. Notes of apple, pear ... yeah, a bit cidery here and there. Touch of medicinal in the background. Fruity esters, touch of strawberry within the sweet malty character. Bready. Oddly coarse and dry in the finish. Plenty of yeasty Ringwood flavours, too.
It's great that MH has finally embraced their hippy-ism with this release, however I found this beer to be very unbalanced and hard to finish. The hop flavours are a bit too much, overpowering and unpleasant at times. Still, an interesting brew with plenty of character.

One of the better IPAs. Not sure what part the hemp seeds played in the flavor profile but none the less it is a very smooth and clean flavored brew.

Poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass.
L: Caramel/butterscotch color and slightly hazy. Nice foamy head, laces the top, carbonation looks strong.
S: Brilliant bright hop smell. Sweet and floral, but maybe with a bit of tangerine peel? Smells incredible
T: I wouldn't have been able to tell you that this was brewed with hemp seeds, but I can tell you that it's a damn good beer. Bright and fruity bitterness, with a bit of tangy-sour finish. Hops are profound and bright. Maybe a bubblegum aftertaste? I agree with the Precisiondigital.
F: Lighter mouth feel, but bitter and boozy. Warming over time.
My favorite Magic Hat beer so far. Delicious and with beautiful can art!

Very unique taste: It hits you with bubble gum when you first try it. Then it smoothes out into a nice floral hop finish. The color is golden, with slight cloudiness. It has a nice head. Smells delicious with that bubble gum, hoppy, citrus aromas. Overall it is pretty darn good.

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: From sampler pack.Pours out very normal, medium golden, foamy head subsides rather quickly. Mild hoppy aroma, piney, floral. Taste is fruity, tropical notes, citrus, hop bitterness comes in at the back. Seems a bit thin overall.
