Notes:
Wacko is the liquid song of summer: Crisp like the morning, cool like the evening and quenching all day long. Pop the top and set your summer loose. Wacko is a delicious summer beer with a big malty aroma, a subdued hop bite and a clean, slightly sweet finish.

Got a sampler pack from these guys and this is the first brew out of it.
A-pours a fairly bright yet hazy orange/copper color, head is minimal and white with a fairly decent amount of bubbles running up the glass. Color looks un-natural almost.
S-smells sweet....malty and some sort of fruity. I cant remember the last time I smelled beet's so I cant really compare i suppose but there is some sort of fruit here. Doesn't offense but I cant really say its appealing either.
T-not a hop in sight...er taste? this beer is sweet and almost boring...there is a mild malt background and then some mystery fruity element and thats pretty much it. Its a summer beer I get it so its supposed to be session-able but this is just kind of boring.
M- mouthfeel helps out a little bit with the carbonation making things a little more interesting but its not gonna save a sinking ship.
D-This is not bad beer. I would drink it over a lot of other BMC things out there but thats about it. I wont ever purchase a six-pack of this. I'll give the rest of these to my girlfriend she likes the number 9 maybe she will like this too.

I don't know what to say. My notes on this are a little rough, but I'll try to turn them down. I just thought the taste of beets was there, and it just wasn't a good thing. I looks cool as a result, but I just don't think it works, unless maybe you're Dwight Schrute. Hard to get past.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a hand glass.
A: Amber hue. Pours a 1 finger, foamy, white head. Settles slowly, but not completely. Very nice beer ring lacing.
S: Heavy wheaty nose with a little strawberry and raspberry.
T: Light washed out malty tone, accentuated with indistinct fruit flavors.
M: A little soapy on the palate, and just feels perpetually flat.
D: Session.
Atmosphere is pretty solid. Nice head, and some really nice lacing. Nose is a wheat with a little fruit. Flavor is washed out malt, with indistinct fruit compliments. Overall, this is an okay quaff.
