Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) into a Captain Lawrence muffin top glass; canned 10/02/2019.
A: Pours a hazy, dark golden color with ochre highlights, a two to three finger, lemon chiffon head, decent retention, and solid rings of lacing.
S: Aromas of pink grapefruit, honey, and pine.
T: Semisweet with, again, the flavors of caramel, pink grapefruit, honey, and pine. Relatively light bitterness. Subtle and mild.
M: Light bodied with solid carbonation. Very crunchable.
O: Really a delicious, mild, very drinkable AIPA. I could get used to this one.

7/26/19...pours rusty bronze. light ring of white foam. Light tropical and citrus nose. Juicy. Fruit juice citrus with a tough rind bitter. Slightly gritty. Loaded with bettering flavors. Pretty good.

this was, for me, the best and most flavorful beer in this mixed can pack they had out this summer. its a hazy one, but its a drinker too, and it has a lot of hop character, far more pronounced than many of the others. the aroma here is great, peaches and pears and mandarin oranges from the can, maybe citra and amarillo at work, among others, some melon and kiwi fruit here too, some southern hemisphere hops in the mix perhaps. its not as overtly citrus driven as a lot of these are, which i like, it leaves a lot of space for other fruit character to emerge from the hops, especially on the back end. the flavor isnt quite as pronounced as the nose with all the tropical character, but its more of the same, and this drinks juicy, fresh, and modern. there is a softness to the feel, wheat and oats in the mash really do a lot for this in terms of making it round and almost squishy feeling. the carbonation is a little light in this one, but i dont mind it being just a little slower moving through. these hops are awesome. lemongrass and honeydew at the end, meyer lemon, papaya, very summery and beachy to me, and a little easier drinking than a lot of the hazy ones are. the highlight of the mix pack for sure!
