Paid around $2 for a single at The Party Source...

The beer pours a clear amber colored base with a thin white head, a ring of retention and no lacing. Aroma is fairly faint, some sweet malts and barley are in there somewhere.

Contrary to the smell, this beer has a well-balanced flavor. Floral sting in the beginning, substantial malt flavor with a sweet aftertaste, moderate-to-full body and ends with a hint of cardamom/lemon/honey floral sweetness, very nice! Fairly smooth in the mouth, albeit a bit heavy and at 6.9% this scotch ale is a nice session brew.

Final Thought: A great offering to those beer connoisseurs looking some something original and not overpowering. Very pleased.
