My first beer after my bout with a cold! 22 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a semi-dark straw color with good clarity. The head is a three finger white shade. Not unexpectedly, it fades fairly quick and doesn't leave a lot of lacing on the glass.
S: There is a notable corn character here, thankfully it doesn't quite rub me the wrong way as it does in BMC offerings. Some light hoppiness helps balance things out well enough.
T: This actually works reasonably well given its style for a couple reasons. One, the corn character has a light 'spiced' quality to it (just like flagmantho said, it's eerily reminiscent of nutmeg), and two, the midtaste and finish isn't nastily sweet like a typical macro lager - I'd even call the finish citrusy at times. Still, it does get fairly sweet after a while. There isn't a whole lot that's terribly interesting here, but it's certainly refreshing.
M: Not as dry as I like my lagers to be - I'll blame that on the questionable freshness rather than the brew itself. Carbonation is pleasantly high.
O: This might be as good as an adjunct lager gets. Because of its inherent style, it'll never get high marks for complexity or boldness of flavor, but this would make a great lawnmower beer regardless. I have a minor problem with the bomber format, though; mainly because this would be perfect as a cheap-ass 6 pack of tallboy cans. That, and I can't get it in MD without trading.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a pint glass. The brewers say this a is a pre-Prohibition style lager brewed with flaked corn, which I think qualifies it as an adjunct lager.
Appearance: light golden hue with a touch of haze and a light effervescence. Head is a thick finger of pillowy white foam. Actually not too bad!
Smell: light malty aroma with a hint of grain and a light spiciness. There's not that creamed-corn aroma that some corn-adjunct beers have, which is welcome; instead, the corn is presenting as more of a spicy character (think nutmeg). Interesting.
Taste: malty, with a definite nod to the corn contents. Strangely, it doesn't taste of creamed corn or corn pops or any of that; it's just got a light, pleasant sweetness. Not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a surprising creaminess. I really like it.
Overall: this is probably as good as it is ever going to get for a corn-based adjunct lager. Normally corn is my least favorite adjunct grain, but here it actually works.
