Pours pale gold with a large, sudsy head.
Nose shows grains, oats, and bready malt.
Similar flavours, a fair bit of grainy malt shows with some spicy nobles hops underneath.
Body feels somewhat watery.
Fits the german pilsner style pretty well really.

Had this at a local restaurant in Marathonas in Greece. Place was on the beach and it was the only one it had on tap. The beer looked ok but I was not impressed with the taste, especially the after taste. It was very bitter and not to my liking. Craft makes other beers which I do like, but I would not try this one again.

A:Poured into a 450mL pilsner glass. The beer is a pure gold color. One finger soapy head with low retention, pure white. Lost of carbonation showing through.
S; Slight lemon zest, grassy, somewhat spicy. A touch of malt at the end.
T: Nice hop bite to it, a touch of soap but not much. A nice bitter finish, dry with some citrus and a somewhat spicy character.
F/D: Crisp, very refreshing after a long day of walking.
Overall: A respectable pils and a hell of a step up from the omnipresent Mythos here in Athens. Actual taste rather than merely a thirst quencher.

so... Greece does have beer.
the first and only microbrewery in the country it seems does a pretty solid job a a few traditional German Lager styles. very pleased to see.
on tap at a small street cafe, served in .33L Craft pils glass alongside kasseri cheeze and spinach pies.
A - bright yellow gold color, perfectly clear with stark white, fluffy, rocky 2 finger head that persists from first to last sip.
S - Grassiness, graininess of malt, some light sulphur. beautiful floral and slightly spicy saaz hops.
T - light and snappy, brisk and bright. actually showed a nice pilsner malt flavor followed by that noble hop flavor I just cant get enough of. arugula-like spice and mossy coolness.
M - med-high carbonation, light, crisp and refreshing as it should be in the heat.
D- an excellent example of a German pilsner, with more floral hop flavor than Czech spiciness, though with a good amount of bitterness. kinda falls in between the 2 styles.
if you find yourself in Greece in summertime, pass by all the signs for Mythos, Alpha and Fix and get this beer.
