L: Pours a clear yellow-orange color with a medium sized and medium bodied white colored head that laces the glass nicely on the way down.
S: Smells of sweet toasted malts, hints of caramel malts, a mix of some citrus aromas and some earthy, citrus hops at the end of the nose.
T: Tastes of sweet toasted malts with a hint of caramelized malt, and then a nice mix of citrus, pine, earthy, and floral hops that are clearly there but not overpowering. A nice change from the hop-bombs everyone expects with an IPA.
M: Lighter bodied, crisp, fresh, refreshing, perfect amount of carbonation.
D: Overall a pretty decent IPA and it was nice to have something that didn't feel so acidic going down, real nice mix of flavors and feel.

On Tap at the brewery in Troy, NY. Pours copper with long lived white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of caramel malt, ripe fruit and hint of hops. Body is medium and crisp. Citrusy hops caramel malt, ripe fruit combine on the palate. Finish is long and bitter. One of many OK IPAs.

Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler pint, the beer is a crystal clear, pale, copper coloring with a sparse, frothy, white coating on the surface. Decent cling to the glass as you drink, too. Aromas of rich toffee and biscuit, with a touch of grapefruit and heavy cut grass scent from the hops presence. Smells similar to an English IPA. Flavors are rich and roasted, with a slight oily feel initially. Resiny hops forward, with a strong bitter and floral boquet, supported by a toffee backbone. The hops blast forward into the aftertaste, which is bitter dominant. Dry, slick finish. This becomes a type of English and East Coast IPA hybrid, but a bit unbalanced and clumsy.

Enjoyed at the brewpub in Troy this IPA has a clear brass/copper color with a very solid off-white cap on top and a wicked layer of lace. The aroma brings a disappointing waft of metal biscuit with just a hint of lemon-lime. The flavor thankfully rescues things nicely with a more typical IPA blend of malt biscuit and grainy citrus hops. The feel is pleasantly crisp with a medium-plus carbonation and a slightly dry finish from the hop bitterness. It seems to have plenty of hops despite the nebulous nose hit up front. There’s some caramel and bready grains in there as well. All in all, if you skip any aroma savoring, this is a very decent and highly drinkable hop brew. Certainly a safe choice!
