I have driven by this place numerous times and didn't even know that they sold high quality beers until I saw tikigodxxx's review. I always thought it was just a convenience market, which it is, but this place also sells wine and some imported beer. As I look through I see a fair amount of German beer, a good selection of English beer, and a decent selection of Belgians. However I found many beers which I haven't seen in other places recently. What brings this place down for me is the domestic micro selection which sucks. That was a disappointment. The service was excellent. The guy working there came up to converse about the beers when he saw I was looking around. He gave me his suggestions and seemed very enthustiastic. Prices were a bit high imo. This is a good place to go if you want an import that you maybe couldn't find anywhere else in town.

Quick Stop was one of the first real craft dealers I found when moving to my current part of town.
The store is very unassuming. I stumbled upon it by accident, as it really looks like an everyday party store. Thinking I could get a decent beer to go with some Chinese carry out I was waiting on across the strip mall, I was pleasantly surprised by their especially English seletion at the time. Since that first visit, they've expanded into more local, Belgian, and worldwide imports.
Service is generally pretty good. The owner and a few of his employees seem to have a real passion for beer. That said, he hasn't been in during any of my recent visits, and some of the staff don't show quite the same passion or beer knowledge.
Selection is good. As stated, it's a good mix of regional craft, with a lot of doemestic micros and imports from wide ranging locales. While some places may have more variety, Quick Stop still always seems to have a bunch of stuff I've never tried and may not be able to get elsewhere.
Pricing is my major hang-up. They've always been in the neighborhood of their competitors until recently. It seems every beer available as a single is priced about 30-50 cents more than what I'll pay down the street. No biggie, when you're just picking up a couple beers. However, I really like to make full sixers and the price can really add up.
