Stunning! Almost black, brown body beneath an incredible tan-brown head that really holds and leaves remarkable lace about the glass. The
The nose is sweet and chocolatey with notes of toasty caramel-drenched malt, dusty cocoa, milk chocolate, and creamy coffee. Incredibly welcoming!
In the mouth it's medium bodied with a dextrinous side... perhaps medium-full; and creamy smooth as might be expected. Very nice!!!
Sweetish chocolate returns in the flavor, just as rich as the aroma suggests. Maltiness is present, but no hops, and the bitterness is limited as well. Some rich, mocha-coffee-like roastiness helps to balance it, but it remains sweetish - kind of a dessert beer :) Surprisingly, it finishes kind of dry with some dryish, espresso like bitterness lingering on the palate.
I almost hate to say this because it follows a stereotype, but my girfriend LOVES this one! ... I kind of like it too!

appearance: A very nitro-esque mocha colored head atop a black liquid. Absurd retention time and heavy lacing.
smell: Milk chocolate, slight roast, and a light muddy hop aroma. Very good and considerably rich.
mouthfeel: Smooth carbonation with a creamy, full body.
taste: Smooth, creamy milk chocolate and a dusting of cocoa powder dominate. Light flavors of medium roast barley provide a backdrop with a light hop flavor. About as sweet as a beer should be. The character of the beer asserts itself a little better here than in the aroma.
drinkability: quite easy

On-tap at the downtown Dane last night. Why have a pint when you can get a big, manly liter mug? Mmmm
Pour: deep brown, opaque with ruby highlights under a creamy, whipped cream-like cappuccino head that lasts for an entire liter.
Nose: toasted malts, roasted coffee, vanilla cream, cocoa powder
Taste: sweet lactose milk stout base, milk chocolate, vanilla cream, cafe mocha, pleasant roasted malt bitterness in the finish
Feel: smooth and creamy like a frothy glass of chocolate milk
Drinkability/Overall: one of the smoothest, creamiest, tastiest milk stouts I've ever had. Chocolate highlights make this a decadent treat. Catch it while it lasts.
