imperial pint, fitchburg location

appearance: pours a very dark brown with a creamy khaki head...took the bartender some fine tuning to get a pint full of non-head...the end result was quite impressive

smell: cookie like sweetness, some mild licorice, faint smoke but the title may have been a little suggestive, sweet dark fruit

taste: gingerbread cookie comes to mind, mild licorice, raisin, prune, plum, cookie sweetness, moderate licorice, very faint smoke...a nice scotch ale, better than their standard scotch imo

mouthfeel: smooth and creamy, medium body

drinkability: pretty drinkable, tasty
