Pours a clear orange/copper color with minimal ring of white bubbles. Scent is of almond paste as the name would lead me to believe, splashes of honey and powdered sugar, light splash of stale, earthy hops. Taste began with a quick and light sweetness along with the almond paste, doesn't last too long as it settles into notes of light honey and stale, dried hops. Thin and needs a lot more carbonation and a little more sweetness to come across a bit better. Fun experience, great scent, taste just didn't last too long.

This Pale lager is brewed with nougat and almonds. The smell is kind of nice with the reminiscence of nice pastry beers which are all the rage right now. The taste isn't very enjoyable with sweet artificial nougat taste along some cheap lager characteristics

Pours a clear, orange color. 1/5 inch head of an off-white color. Poor retention and poor lacing. Smells of pale malt, slight sweet malt, chocolate, and vanilla. Does not fit the style of a Biere de Garde. It more closely resembles and Amber Ale with nougat. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of pale malt, sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla, hint of hop, and a hint of nut. Overall, weak appearance and aroma is muted, but the feel, blend, and body are good. I will have to give it a poor rating as it is currently classified as a Biere de Garde.
