Part of CASKapalooza at TFOB

Deep brown colour, soapy white head with no real lace to speak of. Smell is of roasted malt initially, notes of yeast come through almost a belgian yeast, light spice notes are present, chocolate and coffee are there as well. Taste is yeasty and roasted malt, moderate bitterness, not so much a hoppy bitterness though this is mildly hoppy, coffee and bittersweet chocolate in the finish, some spice is detectable as well. Thin but a good cask feel, medium body, light carbonation. Not a bad brew, quite drinkable and above average.
