On tap at Volo, Great Lakes/Mike Lackey feature. Into a tulip.
Poured an unfilitered golden orange, lacing and retention were moderate. Nose of tropical fruits predominantly, but restrained in a sense. Some pine as well as some weird pungent notes I can't exactly put my finger on. Taste is quite bitter, some pine and the hops are upfront. Sweeter malt sits around it and complements it fairly well. Tropical fruits are there too, but I don't recall them being integrated too well. Mouthfeel could be a bit fuller; bitterness lingers for a bit on this one. Drinkability is moderate. Not the best IPA of the night.

On tap at Sessions 99 festival.
Beer is amber/caramel coloured with a small off-white head.
Smell is hoppy, with scents of orange, pine and pineapple. Juicy.
Pine, grapefruit and orange in the taste. Some caramel malt. Moderately bitter.
Medium bodied, low carbonation. Oily.
Overall, pretty good. Not the best of the GLB IPAs, but solid.

On-tap at Bar volo. Great aroma, and good looks of thick orange. Initially, orange taste in the mouth with the hops, an above average mouthfeel. After a while, the palate is shredded, there is noticeable acidity and the drinkability is just not really there.
Had again three months later at Bryden's and great aroma again, nice light orange colour with lace but in fact hops not so tasty.

Pours a cloudy pale orange, little head. Had this at a beer festival so lacing was tough to judge because I used the same cup all day. Smelled of sweet hops with citrus notes and a hint of pine. Taste had a nice bitterness a little mellow, not an IPA that grabs you right from the sip. Nice feel in the mouth good weight. Drinks pretty good not the best example of the style or even the best offering by Great Lakes. Worth a try but you probably wont go looking for it again.

My second selection at Volo's Cask IPA Challenge. This was still early enough on that I'd imagine this was one of the very first pours off the cask. This one arrives with tons of grainy sediment as well, though not as much as the Beau's. Almost no head, with only a ring of white around the glass and almost no lacing being left. The body is opaque and dull-yellow.
The citrus character is nice but some lactose shows up as well (not in a good way). Grapefruit, tangerine and sweet malt with sour cream. Not into the diacetyl. This was a blind tasting and I wrote "Great Lakes?" on my notes at this point, so strong was the connection to the diacetyl problem with their Canuck Pale Ale. It really smelled like the exact same problem. Sadly, I was correct in my guess.
Again, the hops are nice but there is still some unwanted dairy along with a strange mineral-y saltiness. Good grapefruit rind bitterness but there's nothing else happening. I'd say this could use more malt presence as well.
Light cask feel with a slight fizziness. Nothing special.
I can't say I enjoyed this one. Quite strange and I would even say flawed.
