Notes:
Triple Bag is brewed in a small batch from single infusion that uses only the first runnings of the mash. The result is a brew made from only the purest part of the grains, providing a uniquely rich and dense flavor, with an aroma reminiscent of the finest dessert wines. This brew is naturally carbonated and is an example of brewing purity that is rarely experienced by those other than brewers themselves.

A-a slightly hazy dark amber with a thing layer of white head that quickly disappears to leave a bit of lace
S-Smell is very sweet and a little boozy. Rum soaked raisins, caramel, light chocolate and brown sugar.
T-the taste is not as sweet as the smell would suggest. Caramel malt, grapes, raisins, and bitter hops
M-medium body, medium carbonation, and a slightly syrupy sweet finish
Overall a touch boozier and sweeter than Double Bag, but I think I like Triple Bag better

no clear date code
A: Dark reddish brown, cloudy, with a tight head and lots of lacing.
S: Sharp alcohol cuts through most everything else.
T: Thick breadiness that reminds me of pumpernickel for some reason. Sherry-like sweetness, but not too cloying. A touch of herbal bitterness on the finish. The booze comes through.
M: Full, soft, not sticky.
O: Too sweet and boozy to want another. In fact, I'm not even eager to finish my first. I generally prefer Double Bag.

12oz bottle into a snifter.
A - Mohogany color with an almost non-existent head leaving a thin topping. No lacing but nice legs on the glass.
S - Caramel, dark fruits, hoppy notes, slightly herbal.
F - Big malty flavors: caramel, butterscotch, a bit of diacetyl, some esters (dark fruits). A little bit acidic in the middle to make a transition to hops.
M - Medium bitterness, quite alcoholic. Carbonation on the high side. Spicy and dry.
O - After trying the Double and Triple Bag, I can say I'm not fond of the style...

12oz bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance
Murky mahogany with 1 finger of off-white head that dissipates quickly.
Nose
Bread, caramel, toffee, brown sugar and notes of banana.
Taste
Caramel, sweet bread and hints of toffee. Brown sugar, banana and plantain. Touches of fig and prune. Has an earthy bitterness with slight hints of honeydew and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel
Medium-full bodied, silky and smooth.
Overall
A nicely balanced Sticke Alt. The 9.2% abv is barely perceived.
