Notes:
Our Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light, fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This fresh and natural ale is our summer seasonal brew, perfect for lounging lake-side or celebrating trail’s end…ENJOY!

Pours a slightly hazy light, watery golden colour with a fluffy head that quickly dissolves and leaves no residue on the glass.
The aroma has a strong perfume base to it, with hints of coriander and some citrus fruit aroma as well. Sweet smelling for sure, but pretty good.
The flavour mellows out the sweetness and perfume to make for a bit nicer experience here. Citrus flavour comes out a bit more for slightly more juiciness and the coriander notes are a bit more apparent as well. Each sip finishes with a bit of a yeast flavour to it. Mouthfeel is light bodied and perhaps a bit too watery.
Not bad overall, but not necessarily something that's overly memorable. I liked, but didn't love this one. There are many other Long Trail beers I'd grab before this one and the same can be said for other beers within the style. Still, it seems relatively easy to find just about anywhere around here and makes for a nice, safe summer choice.

Strong, strong citrus flavor and smell, orange and lemon, so I guess you have to like that sort of thing. Over the summer, I can enjoy such things. There's a earthy underlying smoke here as well. The appearance isn't great, a hazy pale yellow. It's one of the better beers I've had from Long Trail.
