Coming home, I decided to get off the highway and try this place out. I loved the area it was in; an almost old New England neighborhood near a railroad track. It looked like one of those old package stores. The inside took advantage of its space with huge rows of liquor and beer. The beer was mainly on the right of the store. Not much was in the freezers; the stuff on the counters ranged from Rogue, Stone, Endurance, Sam, Lagunitas, Chimay, BBC, and various other micros and imports. Service was nice. There was only one man working there. Very friendly. Overall, a really quaint, high quality spot.

I grew up right down the street from this place, so I definitely feel a connection to it. I used to bike down to the store in the summer to pick up candy...now I'm there all the time for beer. One entire wall of about 6 to 8 coolers is stocked with local, regional, national, and international craft beers. For a store this small, the beer selection is unparalleled. They've even got Tuckerman's, which I've never seen outside of New Hampshire.
As far as service goes, these guys know their beer. I've never spoken to the beer manager, but the owner is a real beer enthusiast, and really nice too. Fallon's also has a decent selection of liquor and wine as well, and prices are competitive. If you're in the area, make sure to check it out it's in a pretty convenient location just off Routes 2 & 495.

fallon's is a small liquor store in littleton that just opened up about a month ago as i write. what makes this place noteworthy is that it has the best beer selection that i've seen at a small store. most stores this size are macro-heavy, and this one of course has a few macros, but is mostly micros with a pretty decent selection of local brews. the beer manager was on hand when i went in and he told me they'll be hosting some beer tastings in the near future, and seemed very enthusiastic about stocking the shelves with a variety of beers. not a huge selection due to space limitations, but fallon's is worth a stop in if you happen to be in the area. and from what i noticed, prices are comparable to colonial spirits in acton, which is about a five-minute drive from fallon's.
