Never saw this beer at the store until a stranger suggested it and at $2 a bottle I figured what the hell. Pours a hazy somewhat clear straw color. Small white head fizzes out leaving no trace of it ever being there. Smells and tastes of wheat (go figure) with some lemon, grapefruit and orange suppplying a helping hand. The fruits give this a touch of sourness that isn't off putting but doesn't quite seem like it belongs either. Mouthfeel is kinda thin and almost flat, finishes clean with no detectable hop presence. Not the best wheat beer in the world and far from the worse. Easy to drink and non offensive. I would say it was worth the $2.

Pours a murky light yellow-orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Thin rings and dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, wheat, yeast, and some earthy, spice-like aromas. Taste is much the same with a slightly tart flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp but thin bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is definitely drinkable with a slightly sour aspect that is somewhat refreshing, intended or not.

Into a weizen glass. Two fingers of head, nice retention. Lots of bubbles in the hazy, dark straw colored body.
Great smell of lemon, orange zest, banana and grapefruit.
Nice fizzy texture, a dry and mild bitter taste. Pleasant and simple.
Light to medium body, moderate carbonation.
An excellent wit.

500 mL Eastern European style bottle,
A: Pours a super hazy goldenrod with a nice medium white head. Very light lace. Unfiltered look for sure.
S: Real nice nose of wheat and orange. Very inviting, has a bit of a pasta flair.
T: Orange and some sweet lemon, great citrus play in the mid-palate. Nice tart finish, some minor acid in the finish. Wheat flavour is an undercurrent throughout.
M: Light-bodied, crisp carbonation. Acidic in the finish, with a nice long finish for the style.
O: This is a pretty darn good witbier. I wasn't expecting that much, but this is a fun beer to drink. An easy pickup again.

Pours from the 16.9 oz. bottle a very cloudy, opaque yellowish color with a bright white, rocky 2 finger + head that settles down by half. It's totally impossible to detect any carbonation in the thick cloudiness. Aroma is a beautiful banana scent with perhaps a hint of lemon/orange peel. 1st sip brings a nice soft flavor of banana, citrus, doughy yeast, a hint of peppery spice. The mouthfeel is very lively and prickly from all that carbonation that was hidden in the haze. The flavors are kind of subdued, if they were a tad more bold and assertive this would be an excellent beer. Overall, it's still very good, a nice surprising pickup.

I have to say that I am kind of anxious to try this one. I like the price point on the Svyturys line of bottles and this is one of the last that I have not reviewed.
I rolled the bottle around on the countertop to put anything that may have settled back into suspension and it worked, but I had to pour very gently as it produced a massive two-plus fingers of dense, bone-white foam with excellent retention. Color was a mighty cloudy golden-yellow, kind of like freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Nose was very spicy initially, underlain with banana esters. Mouthfeel was slightly thin with a metallic tang accompanying the spice and banana on the tongue. Finish was semi-dry with the spiciness taking hold, but I could not shake that metallic taste that was also very present. It may have been a case of I got what I paid for. Oh well. I have had better from this company, so I do not want to put you off of trying others of their beers, but not this one.

Beautiful, cream and blonde with a sparkling merengue-like head that leaves sheets of lace on the glass. Coriander and sour orange with over ripe banana and lemon zest. Surprisingly delicious example of the style, spicy clove and nutmeg with a lemon curd and crackery dry quality. Medium light bodied with sharp carbonation. I admit that Wit is not my favorite style but this is a textbook example of what the best of the style has to offer.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a cloudy dark golden color with white hues and a 1 inch head. Smell is very spicy, some citrus. Taste is citrus up front, considerable corriander is in there, good flavor. Feels full bodied in the mouth and overall is a quality beer.
