This was a very pleasant surprise. Walked in to find a very respectable selection of almost every style in either mix and match bottles or six pack. Everything was VERY reasonable. Last left there with a mix/match 6 of Cricket Hill Fall Festivus Ale, Victory Storm King, Anchor Steam Christmas 2009 and 2010, Lagunitas IPa and Lagunitas Maximus. Also a bomber of Stone Old Guardian 2010 ($6.49) and a 500ml of Shneider Weisse ($3.49). They also had some of the hard to find Sam Adams beers. Had some great deals on wines and other liquors. (750ml of Makers Mark for $21). Great place to stop by if you are near, they often end up with some very interesting things.

I'm still scratching my head on how this place had a B+ ???
I walked in here the other day due to it's reviews. UUuuummm, yea... I felt like I walked into the bodega scene from half baked once I walked up to the beer selection. Old dusty bottles scattered about. Stone, Weyerbacher, blah blah blah. Anyways this place catches the epic fail in my book. Not sure if the place has changed ownership since these reviews or what, but the beer selection sucked. Normal corner liquor store. Nothing to see here. Entering and exiting this strip mall is a pain in the ass as well. Since I have nothing else to say about the stores beer I'll just ramble on to get 500+ characters to post this.

Located in a busy strip mall in Clifton, New Jersey, this is small mom-and pop little liquor store that is convenient because of its good location... the quality was alright, actually saw two beers that were expired which was kind of dissuading, but otherwise what I liked best about this place was the friendly service I got from the owners. Being a somewhat smaller store, they seemed to pay attention to you and i was greeted when I walked in the door, which is always a good sign... nothing fancy or extraordinary here, but a good and convenient place to cop some drinks for reasonable and not over the top prices...

This is a small little non descript place inside a strip mall. From the moment you walk in though it is a decent place. They carry a really good range for the size of the store. You would not expect to find Stone here when you first get there. They seemed to have doubled the variety since the last time I was there. Definitely a cool store to hit. Lot of history here too. They are more then willing to order anything you would like, and I really feel the only thing holding them back from expanding is true lack of room. But this is a quality place if you live up here. Definitely worth the stop in for sure.

Stopped in the other day and met the beer guy, Josh...seemed very nice and interested in expanding the store's beer selection. Beer takes up most of the back wall coolers and racks and several shelves along the left wall in the back.
Bombers of Stone, Weyerbaucher, Chimay, and Laguntius come to mind. 6-packs of Long Trail, Troegg's, Brooklyn, Otter Creek were also available.
Overall, this is a good place pick up something for the evenning if you're driving by it, but don't expect an extensive selection.

Bertelli's Liquors is a smallish liquor store in a strip mall, but one of the first full service wine/beer places I can remember growing up in the late 70's/early 80's and should be rewarded for such. A very good beer selection which shames other Northern New Jersey places more than twice Bertelli's size. One of the few places you can get Heavyweight or the entire Dog Fishhead line. I believe the founder of the store was a truly rare breed, winning both the Metal of Honor and the Heisman Trophy.
