A- Muddy brown. Virtually no head on this one, and I saw them pour it so it is not as though it was skimmed off or something. Obviously no lacing then. Noticable carb bubbles.
S- Nutty, a bit earthy and some of that characteristic fruit notes of Belgian yeasts.
T- Starts malty. Really pulling like a pecan character out of it. Near and through the finish it's thoroughly Belgian. A bit of apricot/peach/pear that, based on this one and Bosco's Belgian Golden, must be a characteristic of the yeast. Faintly spicy.
M- Light for style. Carbonation is smooth, though not creamy.
O- A decent brown. I like the flavor notes, and it's worth a try but of their forays into Belgian beer, I would take their Golden over this one.
