This is a great store, with a very down to earth business, it is run by a family as a matter of fact. They have a good make your own 6-pack section, a great selection on hand with cold singles as well. The store is small but you can not come close the service you get here compared to the bigger stores. The owner is more than happy to order beers you want, he is also a beer advocate himself. I will be driving to this place instead of going to the larger chains in springfield from now on that is for sure.

I thank BA for enabling me to find this place. From the review to the map that’s provided! I made my way there this past weekend. Well worth the time, it is a small store with allot to offer for its size. You can't compare this to Yankee or some of the other LARGE stores in MA, however you can get a great selection of beer mix sixes of many local breweries. The owner is a beer lover who will recommend and listen to what you want. He is trying to expand his beer selection and wants to provide what he can.

As far as the selection, limited supply of Stone,Rogue and Heavyweight. There is a large selection of Weyerbacher, Victory, DFH, Papercity and Berkshire. They have singles for 8.50 a six for the "local" things and 10.50 for the higher-end (i.e. DFH and heavyweight).

They have growlers from Berkshire and bombers from hyland including the hard cider (he offer me a sample without me asking).

The owner is going to be getting Sprecher and Bear republic. He had bear republic in the past but had to send it back because it was bad. So he was told.

They also have a great selection of wine his wife handles that part. She was there and was more then willing to help.

This is a great place for BA's , I walked out with two cases and look forward to returning. If he had a better selection of west coast brews. It would be all 5's in my review. He has a general dislike for Macros. He will order anything that’s available so just ask.

Nice little shop that caters to both wine and beer afficianados. For the size, it is amoazing how much has been crammed onto the shelves. Beers selection covered the gamut from megabrews to extensive local coverage to a large variety of imports. Unibroue is well-represented with large bottles, as were many others.

Mixed six packs of 12ozers are welcomed (~$8, I believe), and they even have empty bottle carriers at the ready for the sole purpose. A few of the import singles may bump your total up a bit, but I was able to get mixed sixes consisting of Unibroues, imp stouts and a couple of barleywines for $10 each.

The gent who's been behind the register each time I've visited (who I believe is the owner) is more than happy to provide information about the beers, and is quite knowledgeable of same. It was great to have someone notice I had some Skullsplitter in my grouping, and be able to be conversant on it.

Overall, a great beer shop, with excellent selection and service, and in Monson, Massachusetts? Possibly a bit pricey on some of the items, but not more than would be expected from a smaller store. Careful not to speed right by, located in what looks to be a large yellow house right on the main drag of Monson, Rte 32. Worth a stop if you're passing that way, for sure.

<edit> And they have bombers of Cadillac Mtn Stout, which is quite a find, esp around here...
