The Orange Blossom Imperial Pils was the second beer I had at the Hop Juice Fest. It was golden in color not a lot of carbonation. The smell contained honey a some slight hints of citus. The taste was good, a nice full body beer that had a honey balance with hints of orange. The higher abv on a hot day made the beer tough on the mouthfeel, but if given a cooler climate it would be a great beer.

A fantastic beer that redefined the "imperial pilsner" category by adding a sweet taste and mouthfeel to the traditional pilsner taste. The beer poured a dark blond with a medium head. The aroma had a strong European hops characteristic, but the creamy mouthfeel and sweet finish made this something I could drink all day long.

A - Wonderful clear gold color with subtle bubbles rising. Color also has some white and yellow. Head is creamy white with little build-ability.
S - Lots of sugar! Honey with nice pine resin. For a Pils it has very nice scent. Some big citrus notes. Obviously, there's lots of orange too.
T - Very citrus and bitter, it drinks a lot like an DIPA. Nice fruit, lime, orange, pineapple... Lots of strange flavors going on in this one! Slight heat built-up.
M - Great carbonation! Lots of bitterness too. Heavy bodied and drinks slowly.
O - Good brew! Drink it if you can find it...good luck. Thanks to my sister for dragging this one back from Durango for me! Happy Fathers Day!!!

On tap at Old Chicago Westy; part of their Craft Beer Week mini-tour. Poured a clear golden color with absolutely no head. A bit of creamy film constituted lacing; no problem there. Aromas of some citrus and malt. Taste was honey, malt, kind of bread/biscuty, a little citrus, and some funk from somewhere. Finish/aftertaste was something I can't put a finger on. Not terrible but I'd have to say my least favorite of anything I've had from Ska.

I had this one on tap Saturday afternoon at the Westminster location. Poured a nice golden color with a good white head on top. Aromas of citrus, biscuit and hops. On the palate, this one is medium bodied and drinkable, with flavors of orange zest, hops and biscuit.

Got this at Old Chicago as part of the "Craft Beer minitour".
10 oz pour, small head, dark yellow/pale orage color. Aroma was that of the hops, with very stong floral notes. The taste was also very floral, and had a bite to it that pilsners do, but it lingered in a way that was not quite as good as the pilsner bite. Had a very strong flavor of the cherry blossom which took away from the beer somewhat. Ska gets points for trying, but it might have been better if it was just cherry double pilsner instead of cherry blossom...

Wanted to try this one before a) I forget, and b) they quick pouring it. Released at Old Chicago's
Pours a clear apricot/kinda-orange color. Very cold, chilled glass, small head.
Aroma is hoppy. Floral and a citrus zip, with orange peel in the back. Faint wet bread dough
Taste has the orange peel and persimmon, but the hops steal the show. Floral and zesty spice, good bite on the end. The biscuit/malt is dominated but they hang in there for what it's worth.
A slight filmy feel to it. The orange, or something, just clings around for a bit. The hops bite into this, but it still lingers. Ergo, it's not as crisp as I would have liked (but then again, who cares what I like?)
A nice beer, worth the try and then some
