Nothing really impressive with this dubbel. It seems immature and isn't very complex. tried the bottle simply because of it's novelty. Novelty is all that it provided. Pours relatively thin and seems low in carbonation. I feel it has floral, citrus spices and bananas. It does not have much texture in your mouth but it drinks well. I wouldn't go out of my way to drink this as there are so many more dubbels to drink. It may be a good drinking dubbel for an amature dubbel drinker.

Very nice foamy white head. Brew is crystal clear orange with light yellows. Not much in the way of lacing.
Elegent belgian scents; lots of banana, spices, and cloves.
Slight rubbing alcohol flavor beneath the deep belgian nuances. Very dry and slightly over carbonated. Mellows out a lot once brought to room temperature.
Another killer offering from SKA. A very nice and relaxing Dubbel, perfect for a hot summer day. Recommended, priced a bit high ($8), but still a very nice brew!

Pours golden in color. There is almost no head, what there is falls fast to a micro-ring. There are a few spots of micro-lacing.
It smells like circus peanuts. Banana, honey, and honeydew melon.
The flavor is really faint, the aroma barely carries over.
It has a lighter body with little carbonation.
Not sure what they were going for with this one. Not something that Id drain-pour, but I wouldn't order it again either.

Poured from 22 oz brown glass bottle (with a cool, yellow wax covering the cap and bottle neck) into a pint glass.
A - Pours an orange, unfiltered color leaving a thick, lasting head (over a finger). Large soda-like bubbles hug the glass. The head dissipates in a few minutes, with no lacing.
S - A bouquet of sweet, citrusy notes tempts me. Very sweet.
T - A taste of corn and noney. The ale finishes with luscious Belgian hops, banana, and more wildflower honey.
M – Thick, caramel mouthfeel, very wet, belying the 8% ABV. Over-carbonated at first, but after a few minutes of off-gassing, the carbonation becomes quite manageable on the palate.
D – Very refreshing and sweet. Not a bad dubbel! Will buy again.
