Poured into a ten ounce tasting glass at the brew-pub.

Dark chocolate brown with a small tan head. No lacing.

Smells of roasted barley. What? In a porter? Pretty odd. Slight hop presence.

Taste is very smooth, with rich chocolate, but again - roasted barley in a porter? Not quite right.

Is it a stout? Not really, but it's not exactly a porter either. Overall lacking in taste.

Mouthfeel is decent.
